Products

AfriHex is one API and one hex grid underneath, but it's built — and should be evaluated — as three separate products. Pick the one that matches what you're building; you don't need the other two to use it.

AfriHex Locate

Turn any coordinate into a stable, human-readable address, and turn any address back into a coordinate. This is the foundation everything else is built on, but it stands on its own for anyone who just needs digital addressing — no banking or field-ops features required.

  • Hex Addressing — the AF-GH-7-… hex-code grid: encode, decode, navigate, and the guarantees behind the code itself.
  • Addresses & Geocoding — GhanaPostGPS lookup, reverse geocoding, place search, address validation, bulk operations.

AfriHex Verify

Answer "is this a real address, and is this really who they say they are?" before you lend, onboard, insure, or deliver to someone.

  • Identity & KYC — address verification with a quality score, proximity verification, Ed25519-signed certificates, proof of delivery.
  • Risk & Fraud — fraud detection folded into every verification call, portfolio-level risk analytics, and AML/PEP sanctions screening.

:::note AML/PEP coverage is partial The sanctions index is live, but full PEP (politically exposed persons) coverage isn't loaded yet — see Risk & Fraud for what's covered today. Don't treat a clean screening result as a complete PEP check until this is called out as resolved in the changelog. :::

Verify's flagship flow doesn't stop at onboarding — once a customer is verified, the same consent-gated location signal Operate uses for field ops (see below) is what tells a lender a borrower has moved. See Location Monitoring for that loop.

AfriHex Operate

Run the field: know where your service area covers, route people through it efficiently, and get pinged the moment something drifts out of bounds.

  • Collections & Service Areas — loan-collection zones and merchant coverage areas with instant point-in-area checks.
  • Location Monitoring — consent-based background pings, drift detection, geofences, webhook alerts.
  • Routing & Navigation — turn-by-turn routing with landmark narration, distance matrices, isochrones, live traffic, transit, GPX. Includes Language Services (translation and speech-to-text for Ghanaian languages) as a supporting capability for navigation UIs that need to localize.

Building across products

Most real integrations touch more than one product — a lending app needs Locate (to capture an address) and Verify (to check it), a delivery app needs Locate and Operate. The Mobile Integration guide walks through a real app that spans all three; it's the right starting point if you're not sure which single product applies to you.
